Anxiously waiting again for a new smartphone. Dopod 810 coming next 2 weeks, Nokia N95 next 3 months, and SE, gosh maybe another year (like I had waited for P990i). Any suggestion which to go guys??? Thanks in advance. Cheers

@bytes - N95 here mate ! Waiting for the successor of the P990 might take ages . . . it is more probable that you will be HIT by a LIGHTNING - FIRST,(with thunder on the side) . . . before the next one will be OUT

I also think n95 will do. Also holding out for the successor to the P990i, probably going to wait for a while. Who knows, maybe SE will suprise us with an earlier release which I doubt still. Hmmm, earlier release? Buggy and unstable, not such a good forecast!

Dopod D810 is like a 838pro without the sliding QWERTY keyboard. The rest of the specs are identical, AFAIK.

Thanks guys.

Jojo; You are right there! Since P990 was announced back on 10 Oct 2005, I have been waiting and waiting. Started even when first spy pictures came out from Orange. I was the first one to get it thru Sony Style store here, only to "luckily" disposed it within less than 1 month.

Jakontil; Dopod 810 is coming in the next 2-3 weeks time. Like AbuBasim said, its identical to 838pro but only much slimmer. ATM i am using w810i

EMS06; I was actually had my eye on N95 but was concerned with bugs and timing when is it coming. Cant bear to wait too long again like the P990i, thats until I came across the 838pro.

Trinity (Dopod 810) sounds good. Give it a try.

Remember we are expecting 5 new UIQ models from next year.....

also, they now have UIQ company in their control, so development of new p/uiq series MAY be quicker as a result....

Agree with you there ads1107. Thats why the 3rd option in my topic of the day. However, SE so far has been dissapointing and going to windows mobile which imo is much more stable is becoming very tempting. If at all. Nokia has been more succesful in smartphones in terms of stability and innovation. SE today is still "hope" and wishful expectation whereas Nokia and WIN Mobile devices are already here. B4 any1 bashes me for anti SE views, pls dont as I am too a SE fan and they are much better in many areas in so far as non-smartphones are concerned. Thanks for the heads-up anyway.
