Yes, somebody already mentioned in another thread that they heard it would be around the 14th (next thursday) but who knows? It'll probably keep getting pushed back so o2 don't lose so much money through hordes of people sending MMS for free.
Although, it must be said that "hordes of" is probably exaggerating it a bit but I'm sure any mobile telco would like to have their MMS services tested on a widescale basis before charging the earth for it

Oooo, an 02 employee
I'm considering switching from o2's PAYG minimum £10 top-up simcard to one of your monthly tariffs and was wondering whether it's possible to port my number from the PAYG simcard? Will it also be free?

AntonioX,
then whats this article all about then?
Also, if its being pushed 'big time' how come I haven't had any communication from O2 regarding the service? I put my name on a list to be notified when the service was launched, and I have heard nothing.
It nothing personal, but I am very unimpressed. O2 said "we may not be first to market, but we will be the best". From what I can see Vodafone has had the best launch so far - best phones, best service, a great deal of maarketing.

@24hrs
When did you get hold of your PAYG simcard?
I think 02 may have had a cut off point where after a certain date, all new PAYG cards would automatically be enabled for the MMS service once it had become available whereas with older ones you may have to ring up 4445 to do it

@Tangy
Hi there again,
Yes you can port ur number to O2 post pay, you need to call member services and get a PAC code, then either phone O2 Sales or pop over to your local O2 dealer :-)
