> p990i Orange 'Web' Browser Problem

After taking quite a while to set up wifi and in the end having to change encription from WPA-AES to WPA-PSK I eventually got it working. Now however I cannot use wifi to surf the internet! in web i just get an error message everytime i put in a site address although it works when i use gprs. i can connect to my home network fine I just cant surf!
can anyone help? this is really frustrating! thanks

this is maybe a stupid Q, but can you access the internet via the PC?

i got the same thing like a week ago. after like 3 or 4 reboots it worked. since then, no other issues.

I doubt it, but might be the orange branded Web that blocks any web pages if not connected through GPRS?!
as far as the router, do you have any other options on the router? I thought the acceess point is the default an only option?!

i shouldnt have to set it as an access point because i can connect to it anyway . im going to have to find a sony ericsson centre and get it flashed to an unbranded version i think.
