Sony Ericsson Becomes The Nations Favourite In Iran
Tehran, Nov 21, Taliya News – Sony Ericsson mobile sets have found their share of the Iranian market for over a year now, having become best seller in Iranian markets during the first six months of the current (Iranian) year (1385 – began on March 21, 2006.)
Some dealers at Tehran’s Ala'eddin Mobile Set Mall say that for a while various models of Sony Ericsson were the best sellers in the market and Nokia sets were not as fast going as they used to be here.
Yet it has been a few days that the customers looking for that brand, too, face scarcity of their desired set types, or are even totally unable of finding them in the market.
The manager of Citadel-Telecom, Sony Ericsson’s sole sales agent in Iran, Mahdi Nader had earlier announced the entry of that company’s new models to the market, assuring the dealers that the problems with which they had been entangled to procure the Sony-Erickson sets would be limited to very few models.
One of the shops that present various Sony Ericsson models for sale says, “In the wake of the new wave of mobile set confiscations, we have stored most of our mobile sets fearing that our store would be shut down before we would be able to prove our legal status!”

Nice! I hope SE works fast in their distribution line to sort out the unavailability problems. This is exactly what we need, outsell nokia and pick up on the market share. Good news.

SE should pass nokia in finland, that would make my day
iran is a country that has been developing its own military technology, so the country welcomes all advanced technology, and SE offers more then nokia. so its quite normal.
lets hope bush doesn't invade, otherwize it will be motorola
