I have an M600i and have been fairly pleased with its performance but have noticed a flaw in the synchronization that I have not found a work around for yet. When I synchronize with my contacts in Outlook 2003 all writes normally with the exception of the mobile phone number. For some reason it does not pick that up and write it to the phone's database. Any thoughts?

Hi i had this problem the first time i synced and found for some reasons a lot of the numbers in Outlook had been changed to other and that's why they were not showing. Once re assigned it worked fine. Have just completely reset and reloaded the latest firmware and resynced everything with no problems so seems like it was a one off. Hope that fixes it for you.

Well I still do not seem to have a resolution for this problem and so I have resorted to SE customer support. They recommended that I check all of my contacts as they are improperly mapped. Get real. I have over 1200 contacts. A cursory check shows all my numbers are identified as what they should be. SE also recommended uninstalling the current firmware and then reloading it. I do not see any instrux on how to carry this out. Any clues on how to do this? I have reloaded the current firmware but nothing has changed. I am at a loss here.
Just an FYI if I synchronize with a Windows mobile device of any flavor of Windows up to and including Windows Mobile 5.0 all is fine. I am afraid that this is a flaw in organizer.
Suggestions?
