> P990: Constant Reboots?
Bookmark topic
I'm starting to suspect that Voda dealt us one up the spout when they released this F/W.
I woke up this morning to the shutdown jingle repeatedly firing off every 15 seconds. On closer inspection, the phone is constantly restarting, blacking out, Voda logo coming up and restarting again.
This is only after the damn thing was in its craddle idling away overnight. This is the first time i've seen a device comit harri-kirri from doing sweet FA in its cradle.
Any pointers to get the thing up and running?
Regards
Popolou
EDIT: Thanks!

Try reading the other threads on current firmware and P990i problems. your phone is no different to other peoples so it will be covered already. If everybody did as you have doen and started a new thread this place would be a nightmare to use.

I've gotten into the habit of turning the phone off and on every few hours or so now. *sigh*. When's that firmware ready SE?!?!?! =)~
Is your phone STILL doing that?

Unfortunately, this is a new thing that i only just discovered. It makes it more irritating that its the latest F/W available as of yet.
Has no one come across a work around for it?

I got the same, on an unbranded world P990i. So it's not the VF customization.
All of a sudden phone rebooted, and then in a loop continued for hours. Suddenly, it worked. Don't ask. I did nothing to the phone. I decided to flash it through SEUS next day, and since have no such occurrences again.
Take the batt out, and try to update via SEUS. This way you will flush all the bad data, and hopefully get the phone back. Good luck..

i think in he´s case, the bad data can stay on the backup...better format internal disk, backup manualy, and update firmware
