All of a sudden, after I re-installed the PC Suite, I find I am not able to install this driver. I did install the suite on my home PC w/o any issues, whatsoever, but on my laptop it keeps asking for this driver and it cannot find it. This prevents the phone to get connected to the laptop.

Anybody can tell me where to I can get this driver? Is it on the CD?

FYI: posted the message after 1 full day of unsuccessful searches on Esato and elsewhere.

When you de-installed the PC Suite did you make sure you removed everything as unfortuantly it leaves things behind that can cause problems.

If you are lucky i would just insert the CD not auto run it and when it asks for the drivers choose search the CD otherwise you will need to search the forum for advice on how to fully remove PC Suite. After which i would advise downloading it from the SE site, good luck and hope you sort it out soon.

hell yeah. i removed all the SE folders, the Teleca folders, the Intuwave folders. removed the registry entries, installed any of the ports. but i do not have the CD with me right now.
But yet again, on my desktop PC never asked for this driver, it just connected.

Update: The drivers were on the CD. Found and installed, now all is gooooood. weird though.
but as long as it works, don't try to fix it, right!

Had exact same problem when installing on my laptop, it got left like it for ages b4 i eventually got round to spending time on it, its the restarts that get to u iin the end.
