only a couple weeks after uk,some times sooner, some times later. I dont know if 3 will get it though, think Telstra will be the first to get, then voda and optus....

Yes they are always late.Middle East and Europe are first to get them then Asia and lastly only Australia.This is because of low buying power plus the geographical location as well. Because Australia is considered a small market, usually mobile phones and cars arrive here later after the European markets demands have been satisfied.
As for the original topic of P990 in Australia, looks like it will be next year and we will still be waiting.I've been waiting since July when I was told September then October.November has come and is going soon and still no sign what so ever. At this rate I might as well wait for a few more months and look for a better option in the New Year.

Regarding the p990, buy from ebay, thats what im doing today

Want to touch and feel first though....not sure i would like the new software as many have said its quite a change from the p900/910.im used to the p900 but if its too many chances that make life difficult might have to jump camp to nokia. Let us know how your purchase goes and your experience with it

better wait for a while and see if the next firmware would make the phone more stable... maybe you better try M600. it's a lot more stable and faster.... including more RAM for opening aplications

If the m600i meets your needs, by all means go for it...
I havent seen any advertisemens or anything about the p990 in australia. Im guessing it wont be here for another couple months, the n93 wil already be here by then, All Phones has it as coming soon
