dunno whats goin on here sorry bout da dense question,but just noticed all my pics i bluetoothed to my pc via my k800i can be uploaded and are jpeg,format.but when i bluetooth my pics with my N73 the pics are taken as jpeg but wont upload ,when i look at the image details on da pc they are bitmap image, what the f**k is this?it is also sayin when the curser is on the image that it was modified on --with the time it was bluetoothedi can put it down to two things so far and that is,thats what you get when you have several different new phones,and well not that im very impressed by this nokia but its not a ,so if you can get past all that and have had this happen to you or no what it could be feel free to throw a few ideas my way, thaks in adv,

Well I don't know why the N73 saved the photos in bitmap format. Maybe they don't work on Macs (though I doubt it).

Bitmap is a Microsoft format for images, and is uncompressed, so you do get huge file sizes as well. JPEG is the standard file type for photos and allows them to be saved at a reasonable size.

hmmm,cheers that makes a bit more sence than what i had first thought but just tried my w850i also and it saves as bitmap as well, so narrowed it down to the pc somewhere, still dunno tried moving files round and sending to compression folder but to no avail,could it be in my pc bluetooth settings?dunno why started doing this shit today, lol

Just send the bitmap image to MS paint click file save as and then change it to Jpeg.

@shal just did it via usb and all good,also did it by changing via ms paint, my little head f*$k solved, so thanks for ur speedy input
