hey guys,
my college has banned orkut and hence everyone's using http://kproxy.com site to browse orkut, i just wanted to know that is it safe?
i mean entering username and password and logging in via kproxy site?

It should be safe enough to use for Orkut, it's quite a well known site and clearly subsidised by heavy advertising. I've not heard any horror stories about it yet, don't know if anyone else has?

I don't know alot about proxy servers but I'd guess that it is possible to capture your username and password over a non-secure connection but even if your Orkut account did get hacked, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Just make sure you use a different password to all of your other online accounts!

EDIT: Changed 'Esato' to 'Orkut', thought we were talking about Esato for some strange reason

@cycovision i dont have any probs with esato.com, it is not banned
