Why is is much better? It doesn't support Jabber and Google Talk and in addition it doesn't log directly log into each IM service, but instead uses its own servers as a gateway.
I've been using IM+ since I've had my P990i and I think it is pretty good. It wasn't until recently that Agile even managed to pull their finger out and get a version even partially working with the latest firmware.
Besides Agile not actually free.

Well so far its free, it has better interface, there is Google but I don't think it does support jabber and you can pick your internet access point which give u abit of freedom.
I read somewhere that the actual problems are from the p990 itself and not from agile but not sure of that
IM+ is sure more stable than agile
but i still prefer agile works fine for me
i still think there isnt a perfect IM software for p990 yet and it will end up to personal preference.

well, i would beg to differ. see, both IM and AM are IM programs, and while one is more stable and the other is not, on the SAME platform, which one are u to blame? the platform, or the program? If it were me, I would blame the program. Granted, the P900 FW has ways to go and improve, in this case, is the Agile that needs to make it work.

agile or im+ is the same. not much different. if u want a free one u can try mig33. it's java and 100% free. even if agile is free for now for P990i only and we don't know till when..
