Works fine on my k750i.I found an application that can UnZIP/De-compress files in ZIP,RAR or GZIP format. Its named 'mobileRAR' and its compatible with most JAVA phones.I've tested it with my k750i and works perfectly.Download it from
http://modoran.wen9.net/mobilerar.jar .Tell me if this works for you,and dont get angry if you get many java security prompts, you will usually get 15-45 prompts.

I have this proggy already for rar files
But for Zip/Jar I use JZipman as it allows listing of the files.
For security prompts ; patch patch patch

That sounds great,
I'll test them both.
I didn't think it would ever be possible doing so.
Now I realize the power of JAVA!!!!
This way, it shouldn't be very difficult to write java programs opening pdf or office documents.
That way there will be no more reason for buying symbian phones ( for daily usage i mean.)

Care to post the link to the security patch when accessing the filesystem?
(Haven't been around for a while...)
Thanks.

Neither works to UNZIP files on w810 now, do they? Mobirar gives an "application error" message, while JZipman simply goes on running in the background on selecting a zip file!

For mobileRAR, you must select 'yes' when the phone asks you if you allow the app to read/write user data. If you don't accept, it will give you 'application error'. And for jZIPman... it seems to go on the background, but it still works. Just press 'yes' till the app UnZips the file.
