Just in case anyone missed this, looks like the p990i is finally going to get some sort of real competition - albeit the thing is massive , it has some pretty impressive specs. Its announced by O2 asia/pacific for release in q1 2007

Nah - first of all it it will be a battery hog, with that size screen, RAM and GPU.
Secondly like all other windows mobile phones your phone calls will sound like two cans on a string.
This is more like a portable media player with PDA and then a phone. The reality of it will not be as sweet as any specs. And in any case think at this point we can see that anything over 2.8" screen in a smarphone is overkill and unecessary size - if of course it is a smartphone you are after.
