I just got a K800i and I got it set up for use with MMS and WAP. Both works “fine”. The problem is that when I try to send a MMS larger then around 25-30 KB the msg will not be delivered. It appears that the phone tries to send the msg, and after some time the message gets queued (if you check it with “view status”).

After that the phone tries to send the msg every now and then (maybe every 10 minutes). However it will never be sent.

The max limit for my SIM provider is 100 KB so that’s not the problem. I have also tried the very same SIM cars in a different phone and no problem sending.

And there is no problem receiving mms’ larger than 30KB. I have even tried to send a 70KB mms to this phone, and it was no problem receiving it. I then tried to forward the msg and the same happened – after it “fails” to send the mms it gets queued (I don’t get any error messages).

Any ideas what is wrong and what I can do about it?

Thanks in advance.

@lisa - I remember encountering this very same thing when I staill had my Nokia N70 then (not though . . .) I tried to make a query with the service network I am with . . they made a manual configuration of the settings (MMS) . . . a little adjustment too with th FILE size was made. Maybe you can bring your fone too with your local service network provider, but wait for a while too as some member can help you here who has a - K800 model fone too

With the recurring sending . . . I've experienced that TOO, with my K608i in the past . . . I tried sending ONE - MMS with relatives abroad via E-Mail . . . then went to sleep . . . after 2 hours, my relatives abroad called me on my fone saying that they have been receiving MMS - continuously the settings on the fone has NO problem . . . ONLY the network this time . . .

Welcome to Esato . . . and Good Luck !

@*Jojo*: Oki. I have already contacted my local service network and they have made a trouble ticket. And I haven't heard anything from them yet, except an auto replay.

@darrengf: Since I'm from the Faroe Islands you MOST likely don't know my service provider. Anyway, its called Kall ( www.kall.fo ).

come on man, its simple. go to messages,scroll down to settings, mms account and you can find a option there. i don't know how it's called cause i haven't got a k800 anymore.

@antichrist

There is no option there that has anything to do with the size of the MMS.
