> how do i get my w850i battery cover off?

hi i need t get my battery cover off my w850i and no matter how much i pull and press i cant get it off, i have been trying for ages now and my phone is not switching on and i need to take the batter out to see if thats the reason.
i only got this phone yesterday

Just hold the upper part of the phone firmly with one hand. Make sure it does not slide. Put three fingers of the other hand on the cover, just below the 2.0 mega pixel part of the backside of the phone. Press the cover with your fingers and slide it open. I admit it's somewhat harder to do than on some other phones, but hopefully this will help

thanks for the quick reply but i still have had no luck, i tried this to do this all day today and yesterday but looks like im going to go to carphone warehouse to get it checked as this is a fault if the cover is stuck.
