well. as the title says, i just ordered my p990 from x1387

for 298gbp delivered, thats a good price yes?
for thosewho have bought from them, how long does delivery take, 2-3 days?
Now, down to the tech stuff. This is basically my first symbian uiq phone, well im using an n80 now, but only very little.
What advice can people give to a first time user to make my experience better?
What are the do's and donts with this phone?
Give me links to good, beneficial applications/software, like Agile messenger, etc, etc.....
Basically, just want any advice that will benefit me in some way....
thanks all

When you get the phone check the firmware on it and upgade it if it is not the latest official one. Do a master reset. Instal at least free swiss manager application. Take care of phone usage i.e. multitasking activities and available RAM. If you really don't need an application during multitasking go to the swiss manager and turn it off before starting a new one. If a few application are already open, you need them and yet need to open another one check available memory. Soon you will know how deep you can go in multitasking and for me it's quite good enough (even it should and will be better with upcoming frimware).
All of this seams very difficult and for a certain degree it is, but in return I got fantastic and amazing phone that I wouldn't give for a double price, no not even for ten times more of what I paid if condition is to use something other.
Edit: Forgot to say, do restart your phone every second or third day. It will do good to your multitasking need.

I dont think i will do much multi tasking, but that might change when i get the phone....
Maybe this thread would have been better created when i actually have the phone???
And x1387 delivery times, 2-3 days?
any more advice, dont forget links (free) to apps....
thanks

got it last night, great phone

camera is exceptional for a 2mp, and the video is great too. Much smoother than the w900i. And smoother than my brosn73, but smaller of course.
Menu is also very quick on mine......
now, wheres all these links to good 'free' applications???
