> z710 & P990 sync problems

I have a p990 - syncing without any problems with my outlook stuff..
However - Just bought a z710 for my wifte - and need to sync that as well with my PC.
Downloaded the PC Suite software for the z710, rebooted - and fired it up.
It finds the z710 - but - syncing in phone mode is not possible, "not connected or timeout" is the message.
After installing the PC Suite for 710 I'm also no longer able to sync my p990.
Uninstalled the 710 software, uninstalled p990 software, rebooted, reinstalled p990 software - and now that syncs again.
So - my question is: Is it impossible for a smartphone and a phone to have drivers and sync phonebook/calendar on the same PC?
Called SE - they could not give me any other answer - than "We don't know what's causing this. If a reinstallation does not work then you will have to use 2 different computer for this to work" he said...
Any1 out here that knows a better solution?
