Yes, point your phone built-in browser to
mini.opera.com
It works just great. When you press #or *, it displays a new pop up informing any shortcut available. Nice. You can now set the protocol into either socket or HTTP. Hm, any idea what it means? What I like the best is its capability to handle 5524 character-long text inputting, which makes it easier to long-reply to such a forum or compose an extensive email. The security in email management is another thumb-up! Great work..my Gmail checking and sending emails had never been this easier..

Yeah, hey,... Opera mini 3... Quite brilliant! Love the content-folding - no more thumb-blistering scrolling through endless menu lists, etc., etc... - rss-subscriptions work well, too. Overall well improved, and I like that they've kept it simple... Sure, the russian mod has many great features but if you'd try to write a manual for it, it'd be thicker than my e61's! It was interesting to follow the beta-test-discussion on operawatch - they are well aware of the various mods, and their pros and cons... but they have obviously different targets (e.g., MANY happy users, instead of SOME amazed tech-freaks... And hey, no offence... Still have v. 1.25 on this and my other phones, but rarely use them now... Opera mini 3: get it (and buy a nokia E61 while you're at it - you'll love the 2 together)

I've got opera mini 3.0 on my phone now, but I still can't seem to input more than 450 characters in text fields. Can anyone tell me how to get the 5524 characters? And for the network protocol, what's the difference between http and socket? Thanks!
