> Orange W850 strange symbol

A mate of mine has just got an orange branded W850, a mysterious symbol next to the signal indicator has appeared, its box shaped and has a blue swirl inside, what is it?

Menu > Settings > Connectivity > Mobile Networks > GSM/3G Networks
Should be able to turn it off there (unless it's been disabled via the Orange firmware). Will save a bit on the battery life if he's not planning on using 3G anytime soon.
