Hi people,

I am looking for the following settings so I can get my 3 sim card to work MMS on my Vodafone branded P990i which I got on Tuesday.

Everything on the phone works perfectly, calls, SMS, etc ... but I cant get the MMS to work. I have found settings for 3 on the web, but I cannot seem to get the MMS to work.

Can anyone supply a workthrough?? I have not went and got my phone debranded or unlocked etc, but I will do shortly.

Surely it should be a matter of typing in the settings, and setting as default?

Help ???

Didnt even know this forum existed until google pointed the way ... what a wealth of info !!!

Have you sent them from the SE website? Currenlty 3 doesnt support the p990 and this may be one of the reasons why it doesnt work (This is however not always the case)

Well funny you should mention that ... after trawling the web all day and evening, i decided to look on the SE site ... and there it was ... the ability to send the 3MMS settings to your phone.

I have just done it ... and it works. Got my wife to send me a photo (of the floor I might add) from her O2 phone, and it arrived on my P990i

Now, since this appears to be a total loss to others too, and I am glad I have success .... here is where I did the automatic settings send for MMS from SE website (UK) to my new Vodafone branded P990i ...

Hope this works for others too ... am pretty happy now

I have also tried to SEND a MMS from my P990i on 3 network to my wifes Motorola RARZ, and it appeared in under 30 seconds ... soo ..... am well happy now .....

Just waiting on 3 cutting me off now for breaching Terms and Conditions ... lol
