> funny inactive sim problem

i lost my w810i 2 days ago and i'm gutted (i loved that thing!) i have no idea how i lost it! my mum and i are almost certain it was stolen ='[ so as it's on contract and it's on insurance i couldn't have another w810i, so i have a w850i which is really good =]. just got it a couple of hours ago but i have a problem now . where the network thing should be it says inactive sim =[ anyone know how to solve this issue?
ps. by the way the new sim card in this new phone has the same mobile no. as my last. and also straight after i lost my old w810i my mum had it barred. hope those extra parts help!!

on your Mobile Networks setting, try switching it to GSM only, then turn the phone off and on again and see if it works. there seems to be an issue with some 3G networks causing this problem.

What network u with? Whoever it is tho u have to phone them and give them the Sim Serial on the back so they can activate it. O2 do this straight away ive had a couple of replacement sims inda past, however stolen phones take abit longer to cut of and come on esp with orange.
