i need some help here

i am using my new t68i and trying to get the screensavers from this site. However when i go to download one it says that it is about to sownload and displays the memory info.
After i click ok it wsays "receivein item" and the bar does not fill up.
After that it just goes to the previous scenn and nothing happens....the screensaver has not downloaded.
I had no problem however getting the backgrounds.

Any ideas?

Do this and it should then let you download stuff:

WAP Services>
Options>
WAP profiles>
Add profile?>
Call it Halebop>
Connect using> (choose the data account you use to connect to WAP)
IP address 194.237.106.73
WAP Services>
Select profile> (select Halebop)
Begin using WAP

I've tried this \"Holebop\", but it doesn't work. The phone just doesn't complete the connection. Do I have to use WAP or GPRS? Does someone know what to do? This post was posted from a T68i

I have R2E006 software, so on my phone it says WAP services, you may have a different SW version, so on your menu it's called WEB services (it's the one with a little picture of a phone with the world in the background).

It does set up a new WAP gateway. Creating a new profile and then selecting it is so much better than editing your existing profile. If you create a new profile and it doesn't work, you can just go back and re-select your previous profile. So don't change any of your fido settings, you'll still need them to connect, all you have to change is the WAP gateway you use to download files.

It should work using GPRS, GSM or CSD, it's just a WAP gateway, not a WAP provider.

This thread has got some more info: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=12726&forum=29

I hope this helps.

If you mean your phone being locked to your service provider, that shouldn't make any difference to your menu. What software version phone do you have?

While in the standby screen (the normal screen with the clock at the bottom and the operator logo at the top) do this:

> * = right on the joystick and
Service info
SW information
R##### (your SW version)

You do have a newer software version than me, but why that should make any difference is beyond me!

If you can't get into the WAP profile settings in your phone then I would take it back to where you bought it from and ask them.

Have you tried using the WAP configurator at the website?

Anybody else got any bright ideas?!
