well, ive just drained my battery from a days use, the phone is completely turned off, when i charge it, the start up screen comes on, you know the normal process, but the screen stays on white with the little battery metre. It also happened last night when i did its first charge.

With all my other phones like k800, w810 etc, when the phone was off and i put it on charge, the start up screen would come on, but the screen wouldnt stay on, only when i pressed a button it would come on...

why is this happening, cna i stop it?

thanks

thanks mass, so its just a bug or something?

Any way around it?

Should i leave it to charge overnight like this? Or turn the phone on so the screen doesnt stay on?

I haven't seen an explanation posted and I don't have one either.

I tend to just turn the phone face down over night so its not too bright!

yeah, it was annoying when i was sleeping so i turned the phone on flight mode and charged so screen didnt come on.

Does it effect the charging cycle though when the phone is off and screen is on?

I thought it had something to do with power save time, but my time is set at 1 min, so i noticed it wasnt that...

hopefuly it can be fixed......Its only minor, but a bit annoying

my w950i also has this bug, which can't be good for the screen life! Hopefully it'll be fixed in next firmware update. Best thing is to keep the phone on on silent or as others have said to put it into flight mode.
