> New Eminem Track 'Public Enemy #1' (MP3 Sample)

The track features a simple almost militant style beat somewhat similar in tone to his last
Anti-Bush track Mosh. While Mosh (which New York magazine called “the most important piece of mainstream dissent since the 60s”) alluded to 9/11 via caricatures of Bush reading 'My Pet Goat' and newspaper clippings on 9/11, this new track goes into much darker subjects.
The 'Public Enemy #1' track makes references to his phones being tapped, how an FBI van might pull up and he might just disappear, or maybe get taken out by a sniper one day. He goes on to say how he is focused on writing as many tracks as he can just incase something happens, and takes it one step further saying that he has already accepted he would be killed and then painted negatively for his actions. This is the point where the track briefly references 9/11 (after mentioning tremendous tremors) before going on to talk about 2 Pac predicting his death, and JFK's assasination - an allusion to them both being killed for being 'public enemy #1' in the past.

Well after just istening to the 'mosh' song, he really does take a huge swipe at Bush doesnt he.
With revelance to the 2pac and JFK situation, they were both threats to the U.S goverment in that they could ge the backing of the public and change votes as they had certain influences and the goverment could no longer control them. the same could happen with Eminem the way he is going on.
Still fair play to the guy for speaking his mind in the best way he can, by rapping it and telling it how he sees it.

Thats one thing i really admire about Eminem,he speaks his mind and doesn't let patriotism blind him.
Not sure about the situation with Tupac but i do know what happened with JFK, which a lot of people don't know or are not aware of is that JFK refused to give authorisation to
Operation Northwoods which was a 1962 plan to generate U.S. public support for military action against the Cuban government. The plan, which was not implemented, called for various false flag actions, including simulated or real state-sponsored acts of terrorism (such as hijacked planes) on U.S soil and blameing it on the cubans...A year later JKF was assasinated.
Eminem is a great ambassador for freedom of speech and he spreads the true message of whats really going on.
Talking of politically motivated songs, how can i not mention George Michael,he's proberbly more anti-bush than i am!

That
Shoot the Dog video is just spot on,and can you believe george michael wrote that before 9/11...the guy almost has the ability to see into the future!!...I absolutely love the video and song!

With reference to the 2pac comment, He was at the time signed to the "Death Row Records" .This was controlled by an ex-member of the "bloods"street gang "Suge Knight", On the night of 2pacs murder he was in las vegas watching a mike tyson fight at the mgm grand when either before or after the fight a scuffle broke out in the lobby with a member of the "crips"street gang. When 2pac left the hotel after the fight he was in his car alongside suge knight when he was shot and taken to hospital where he later died.
The finger of responsibilty has been pointed at 3 main areas although there others, including links with pdiddy`s `bad boy records` rivals of Death Row
1.After the scuffle in the lobby the crip member called his gang members and therefore they are responsible (unlikely as 2pac`s best friend at the time was snoop dogg dog who is a life long crip and friend of the orignator of the gang "stanley tookie"
2.Undercover Police: Death Row Records are the founders of gangster rap Which the us goverment had been trying to ban since it`s creation because of one of it`s songs by NWA called f**k the police and many others
3.Suge Knight organised the killing himself knowing after 2pacs death his popularity would increase 10 times therefore he would earn more money only splitting takings with 2pacs mother
But up until this point no one is claming responsibilty
