I used Active Desk on my P800 and P910 so that whenever I looked at the screen, it would show current and upcoming calendar events to me without pressing a button (they were just there on the flip-closed main screen). This seems to not be possible on the P990 and it's really a productivity killer for me. Any solutions? That Today menu is pretty much completely useless, as it is entirely un-customizable and only shows calendar items for the day (IF THAT).
If I could even map that Today screen/Shorcut thing to some physical button, or even Calendar to one, for that matter, that would work - but all the options for physical button mapping show a strange and very limited selection of applications one can map to these.
While I like the pretty pictures I can select for the closed and open flip screen - it's not really the most efficient use of that space...
