> W810i low messagetone

I just bought my phone last week at sony ericsson concept shop.. the first one i got was totally defective. so i have to go there and have it exchanged and they gave me a brand new one. the problem with my new phone is that the message tone is very weak i missed the messages most of the time. but when i play music on the walkman the sound is ok. what do you think is the problem? thanks.

There's no problem, W810 is built for people who don't want to get stressed when receiving call or sms. However, you can always import your favourite tone to Sound Forge or Nero Wave Editor and boost volume, this way sound coming from W810 will be much higher.

my FW is r4ea031 yes i've check my volume setting. when i compared it to my last phone W800i which is in level 3 you can still hear the message tone unlike with w810i.. it's very weak. thanks.
