Hello y'all,

I Just bought a brand new P990i and I have some problems.

1. I can't watch tv on it. The customer service of my provider says it's because it's not from a (Proximus) Vodafone pack. But in all their service centers I went they say that can't be : they showed me a Nokia N93 running tv on it and that device wasn't from a Vodafone pack.

2. When I launch the internet on my mobile, I got the Vodafone live page (from my provider "Proximus") as start page. And I'd like to bookmark another one like Esato to be my startpage.
Reason of this is that I don't pay any penny when surfing on the net but 50 cents each connections to the Vodafone page. And as my browser always get opened with that page it's really embarrassing.
I've never have to ask for help with my old P910i.

3. I've a wifi connection home and tried to connect to internet through it on my P990i but with no succes.
I entered all the codes and when selecting my wifi it says connected but while opening the page, I got a message stating that the page couldn't be loaded.

4. How do I get a screen without these 5 shortcut icons (messages, phonebook, agenda,... etc) in the flip closed mode.
On my P910i, when the flip was closed I had only the time, date and provider name shown. Now I got all these icons I can't get rid off.

5. When I open the flip, before getting the list of the programmes and tools, I first land on a page with icons at the bottom. Isn't it possible to skip that page and choose which list you want to land on when unflipping ?

Guys I really like the P990i as there are more features than on the P910i but at this time, it looks like the older model was much easier to set up.

By the way I'm in the Belgium, and you can reply to me in English, French or Dutch.

Thank you for your time.

Here is one way to avoid opening unwanted web page on initial launching of opera. In flip open mode on the left bottom side you have an icon that allows you to setup 9 shortcuts of all kinds including shortcut to a web page. Do it and click on that shortcut when you want to open the opera i.e. browse the internet.
