> Delivery Report on K790a Rogers

Hello,
I've been doing lots and lots of research and I can't seem to be able to enable text delivery report on my K790a.
I've seen many K790a with text delivery report and it works perfectly in my network. I have the option in my picture messaging and it works.
This is the software I have.

I've asked everyone with a k790a to give me their software info and it was

So I headed to Davinciteam
and flashed my phone with different software.
I now have

But no delivery report...
Luckly SonyEricsson Software update recognizes the phone.
So i decided to allow it to update my phone thinking it will put generic software and I will have delivery report instead of $$ for anouther log
now I have

I'd appretiate any help
I am guessing I need customization files.
Can someone tell me where I Can get America_2 K790a Customization files?

Here is a neat trick....
Its a CORE function of ANY GSM network - > Rogers' wasnt cored on GSM but TDMA that upgraded; it may NOW be GSM core but back in 2001 (January till November) it wasnt. They still had TDMA active in high #'s but today most likely not.
now at the BEGINNING of you SMS or MMS (before attaching a picture, save your photos first
) type the number 1 three time then continue composing your message without a space after the 1's.
So an example ...
"111Hello this is an example of an SMS that I would like to receive a delivery report"
Notice above there is NO SPACE between the 1's and the letter H? Same thing should be applied when composing MMS.
Test this and let me know if it works.
I too am located in Canada. I'm on Fido network which is a CORE network and this works No matter WHAT GSM phone I use with my Fido SIM card.

That sucks you're right! I just tested that as well. I do remember getting some SMS from Fido last month of changes to the network. Guess its all screwed up Rogers style now.
So much for core GSM network and following standards. Sorry mate.
