got my phone bought by my auntie as a gift..one thing i've noticed is that it's a hong kong version..got a problem with the fw..when i search phonebooks for a names, typically it search by group of character not by first character..for example..i'l press 5 to search contacts started with letter J..no problems by this time..but when i press 5 (j) then quickly press 2 (a), it seems it goes to contact starting with letter a..no with contact starting with letter JA..it came into my mind to updated it via seus to R1ED001 for i thought it debugs d problem of search..but it seems don't..

i really beg you all guys..as a gift for me this christmas, please help me with this..i know its not big problem with my phone but it seems it help minimizes the use of my joystick that i know some were already damage and not functioning perfectly..

hope someones help..

i know wotanserver can flash my phone and update it to other region..

don't have visa, master, or credit cards..

please help..

Have you got a PayPal account then? I know in the UK you can have an account linked to a bank account and they accept debit cards. You can pay for logins for Wotanserver and Davinci Team via PayPal that way.

your problem isn't a firmware based one. Did you transfer your contacts off your old phone through bluetooth? Or better yet, was your old phone a Non Sony Ericsson model? If that's the case then you have the same problem as me and another guy here on the board. I've updated my firmware to the latest one and I'm still experiencing this phonebook problem. The only way you can really fix it is to manually re-input the names on your phone book. I know it's such a PITA but it is what it is.

nope. i've inputted all my contact manually (sucks 1week)..and also it is not only in contact this problem..also in games and apps..my previous phone k750i do search also games and apps, files by word not by letter..

Hi, unfortunatelt this is what it does for hong kong firmware. I had the hong kong firmware on my K750 and it had the same problem. After I flashed to APAC_1 firmware. it was OK

unfortunately..got another problem with my k800i..i know this is just software problem..i can no longer open my games and application folder and no longer install jave neither..it prompts me Operation Failed..
