Right this is the situation. Use Apple Macbook and the Linksys Modem/Router and this set up has what i have always had. Originally, i had to use my PC (which i dont have anymore) to set the router to the Mac. My ISP - Tiscali Broadband managed to blow up my local exchange and since then we have not been able to connect. SO after many discussions this weekend with Tiscali i finally managed to get through to Linksys. Their advice was to reset my box......only now i have lost my original settings and i am completely f*@*ed cos i need a PC to reconfigure the settings to work with my Mac....
So my question is this:
Is the a MODEM/ROUTER (Wireless) that i can just plug and play with the Mac (in theory they should all work) or is it because of Tiscali that i will have problems (with settings)?
Any help wouldbe greatly appreciated....
