Hi,
I have a question... if my online upgrade is not possible.. how can I upgrade my software for my W550.. offline?
I think this is named.. flashing? or not?
What programs do I have to use... and where I find the soft?
a few links posted here will be welcomed...

I tried to make an upgrade online with SE... it said there are no update available and that I already have the latest update.. not sure this is true.. my friend has the same phone, bought in the same time.. and he succeded the upgrade.
and for the second... can you post a link where to find it?

A firmware issue. Try checking your model's region. I had a similar issue once when I accidentally bought a K750. It turns out it was a K750c. K750c had no updates available while k750i had them.
Also, your phone may be branded. Branded phones afaik cannot be updated via SEUS.

What are the solutions replacing the software by myself?
I also have a V3x Motorola and with the program p2k commander I can acces the system of the phone and modify everything... is no program like this also for SE?

Unfortunately,
are somewhat better at security than Motorolame, hence you cant just affect any firmware/software aspect of any particular
CID49 phone; FAR only works with models up to CID36(last years ones), and itself wasn't even developed until this summer(6months after SE changed security from CID36 - CID49)........
Which means patience, while the hard-working programmers work out how to break the code........unless of course, you are a programmer yourself - have a go!
