Just recently my M600 is only using the main ring tone and ignoring the tones I have selected for certain users. Anyone else had this happen to them?
If so how did you fix it as I can't find anything in the menus to turn it back on.

It happens to me sometimes but I go back to the contact and 'remind' it which song I have chosen as a ringtone.Just save it again,it happens rarely.It's a bug..

try turning your bluetooth off! i don't know why it affects it but on my p990 assigned ringtones don't work when bluetooth is on, strange little bug!

My W950 does this too. I'll try turning off BT and see what happens (weird!).
EDIT: Yep! Turning off BT corrected the problem.

do you guys use a bluetooth headset? not necessarily when this problem is occuring, but do you have a headset profile pairing stored? perhaps it is trying to send the standard ringtone via headset even when not present.
try deleting the profile, enabling bluetooth and seeing if the problem is still there. if not then it helps narrow down the bug even further; then we can bug se for a fix.
just a thought...
