Hope my lovely P990i has not died I had my P990i happily sitting in it's cradle, linked to PC and was quite content with downloading some Simpson episodes and thought i'd call it a night. Took my phone off to take with me to bedroom but then my phone went dead. It won't switch on. I've plugged it to charger, all i get now is a red flashing light. No icons or anuthing and phone won't turn on. I've had it on charge for almost two hours. Has my phone died?

Tried that. No Joy. Got it in my cradle now and it won't even be recognised in that.

When the red/green light stays on constantly then that means it is charging. But you say it is flashing when it is in the cradle?

It sounds like it is not even charging up. I would take it back to the shop right away. Where did you get it from?

Thats the p990 for you!

Dont use the stand for now, connect directly could be your stand. Otherwise, a long shot but have you tried charging it for a min without the battery in there and then charging it with the battery in there.
