Hi can anyone help, i did a reset and lost my golf game from my p990. how can i get it back?

i would be careful with the "restore" i backed up my phone and did a restore because i new i would lose the games and i already had the latest firmware, so i did a master reset and started the restore but it corrupted the files in the process and the phones os died and would not load past the orange picture on start up. luckily even though i had the latest firmware you can do it again and that worked and fixed it. but still it wasn't something i would like to do again.
