I have an old Nokia 5210 which lacks a charger. I tried with charger from and old Nokia 3210 but it didn't charge.
What charger voltage should I use?
I have a separate multicharger that can deliver up to 20Volts but that seems a bit too much.
Please help!

As far as im aware the charger from your 3210 should work on the 5210. Are you sure the phone definately works? Have you left the charger plugged in for quite a long time and seen if there was any change?

I left it on charge over night but the phone didnt seem to take any charge.
I suppose the phone, the battery or both are dead then
You dont know the voltage of the charger?
The 3210 charger could be dead.

I don't think the problem lies with the voltage cos I've been using my Nokia chargers interchangeably in the past. It sure seems like 1 or more of your 3 devices is dead.

Thanx.
I measured the output voltage of the N3210 charger without a phone coonected and it says approximately 10V. Is that OK?

I charged the phone overnight with some 6V and in the morning it started. It seems like the charger for N3210 ACP-7E was either brokwe or delivering to low voltage for N5210.
