I doubt this info to be true... Red Jade was closed for good in 2001.
The capital flow stopped and the company was sold to Synergenix (btw.: that are the dudes which are behind the mophun game engine now sported in the T300).

@caff: yeah, the concept was intended to feature phone and game functionality in one device

I fully agree with Hymie.

This is bullsh*t!
Red Jade no longer exists!!! The company disappeared after Ericsson pulled out from it.
Ericsson initially invested in it, but now it's over. Dead.
Red Jade, based in Paalo Alto, CA had designed the game console completely, Ericsson was just supposed to build it, market it and distribute it... But this never happened, and it won't happen. No working prototype is even known to exist.

But you can still try and connect to Red Jade previous website...

Good luck

There's also a couple of week old article on this...

Hmm.. maybe there's something to that story after all?

See http://spong.com/x?art=3969

I'm still doubtful.. but, anyway.. if those news turn out to be true I'm the last to complain..

Way to go, Ericsson!
