Is it possible to make the P990 end a call by closing the flip?

Dont know if anyone watches coronation street or there girlfriend/wife makes them watch but Danny baldwin has a p990 and he always answeres and ends calls by opening and closing the flip! it annoys me because you cant actually do it!

I think it would be possible to do it with a 3rd party software, but it would require symbian signing... although I'm not sure in this (I mean I'm not sure if symb.sign. is needed). But all the functionality needed to do such a program is public, so you can expect such a program soon... I would try to do it if I would have a p990

The m600/w950 and p990 are too different when they should be more similar. In the p990 you cant even put it on silent from the homescreen without the flip! The homescreen on the m600/w950 is much better.

I know what you mean. My P990's numberpad has been removed since day 1 and the one thing that I still can't stand is switching on silent mode. 4 taps on the screen just to do that!
