Hi

Got the Sony Ericsson via 02 last week and sometimes the phone freezes up when I am recording video, especially long videos. Then the phone has to restart to improve performance and the recorded video is corrupt.

I have had this problem with both SanDisk 256mb and SanDisk 1gb.

Any ideas?

Try first to record video using internal memory. Then you will see if your problem has anything with memory card itself.

I had the similar problem with the old fw. As soon as I upgraded it via SEUS it was fixed and never appeared more.

Bluetooth:
CXC162058 R4F01

CDA:

Ok it recorded that time but when I played it back and tried to fast forward the clip the phone again had to restart to improve performance.

You may also try with master reset. It definitely shouldn't be like that specially because you have the latest fw.

Thanks for the help, but it still isn't working even after master reset and trying to record just to internal memory. Still having problems with phone feezing when press the record button to end recording or when try and play a video clip in the media player when try fast forward it freezes.

Guess the phone will have to go back to the shop if problem not sorted in the next couple of days.
