Hi, just bought my p990 2 hours bak
..
surprisingly i dont find any notificaion or service lights in it..
as most of the pda's and smartphones have..
btw, whats that small thingy on top right corner at the front..

To the right at the top is the LED. When you get a text or miss a call, it flashes green. When your charging it is a solid green and when low on battery it is red

What small thing at the top of the phone? Do you have a picture of it? On the top of the phone, or the screen? With or without flip? Do you mean the little LED-light? (see picture)

This LED blinks on my P900 to show I have a signal - but not on my P990i.
As mentioned above, it blinks on receipt of a message and lights continuously during charging.
I thought the bluetooth indicator LED was usdeful on my P900 - pity the P990i doesn't have one!

Yeah... that's the first thing I noticed when I got my P990.
Well, I'm used to it by now. Also, in some ways, I like it better.
When I still had my P800, I sometimes had to place it on my table face down because the blinking green light sometimes annoys me when I'm trying to sleep.
