just trying to install pc suite now, but get these two messages:
Im running Windows xp, but its not an 'original' Microsoft version.... How can i fix this?

PC Suite can only be installed on Service Pack 2 (SP 2) of Windows XP. Check your XP again for which SP is on the system.
I guess your XP is still SP 1.
The solution is just to upgrade your XP to SP 2.

Click on the START button, then RIGHT CLICK on My Computer, then LEFT CICK on Properties in the box that appears.
This will open a box with tabs at the top, the default one showing is GENERAL and under system on it will tell you what version of Windows you have.
BUT if you as I suspect have a ripped off copy of XP, then you may find you cannot update your XP to Service Pack2 so you may be stuffed until you buy a proper licensed copy? You can try it by giong to windows updates.

If not then download Windows XP SP2 from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/down[....]45-9E368D3CDB5A&displaylang=en
This will download the file to your computer for you to use, it bypasses the windows update service and may run on a ripped of XP, but I don't know for sure.
The above are for ENGLISH versions of XP.

The auto update link I posted will scan your PC to see what updates you need. If you don't have SP2 it will tell you, you need it, press express download to get all your required updates, it will take a while though as it's around 200MB.
