Came across the very unusual camera mount,its not a Mod but an actual product from LEICA, apparently, these are quite rare.
I like the idea though,seems just the thing for those long range peeping tom shots!

camera for cops !! they are used to holding riffles quite steady, so good for taking shots !!

Looks similar to the rifle camera guns some hunters used to use too, only ever seen one on tv in The Professionals.
