Now with the k800i i can understand why it has no light for video as it has Xenon flash, but why doesnt the p990 allow this.
It doesnt have a xenon flash, so why is it so hard for

to allow this, hopefully they implement it in a new firmware. And when taking a photo, when you have the light on, it only comes on when you push the captur button, thats a little annoying as you cant see what you are capturing some times....
Is this normal or some sort of bug, or joke
Hope its fixed soon...

Shame that is. Such a great phone but when we need it most it lets us down.

if u activate ya cam on picture mode and hold the shutter button half way to activate the flash (assuming you have selected the flash from the settings) and then while still holding the shutter halfway use the jogdial to select movie you will find that the flash will just stay on until you revert back to picture mode !

Well well, thanks for that tip, i can can now do "light on video" yet another thing that IS available with a little working out, & thinking about it. u wouldnt want your battery being drained in the daytime would you with a long video, so maybe thats why.
