I used davinci client to try and read the CID of my vodafone k750i, followed the steps hold c, connect cable.
But nothing happends.

Run this:
http://www.wotanserver.com/USBFlashDriver.exe
And dont run any flashing programs and plug in the phone with the C button held down. Wait until add new hardware comes up and point it to C:\USBFlash Driver.

No you can flash for free but its gonna take 4 hours and a lot of a patience.
