Hi Guys -
Just ordered a K800i - and o2 are going to send me a 3G sim as part of the upgrade.
Also - asked for a 3G sim card to replace another o2 sim with a different number - they are going to send a replacemnt as 3G free of charge.
Question is simple -
One 3G K800 phone - 2 sim cards each upgraded to 3G. Will I be able to alternate the sim cards in the phone?
Please say yes!

You can use both sims in a K800i but obviously not at the same time.

Thank you for a quick response.
If I may be so bold - do I need to do anything when these new cards arrive.....activations etc.

You will need to call O2 to activate the sims. They should come with a letter telling you what to do.

Hi Thanks for responses.
I have had both of my SIM cards replaced with 3G versions, and activated both.
Both cards work in either 3G and non-3G phones.
On my k800i - I get a little blue symbol on the handset display. I'll assume that indicates 3G - although I had the same symbol with my earlier GSM card!
All I need now is someone to talk to with a 3G enabled phone - or a test site if one exists.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but talking hasn't been upgraded much since the stone age. So talking on 3G is the same as talking on 2G.
Video conferencing, on the other hand -- is something else and for that I believe you need to have the service activated on your mobile.
