man, this kid was stupid. i went in today, and you can hardley tell anything happened! i mean, its obvious, but its crazy how nice they made it look in less than 24 hours...

The Altamonte Mall is open for business today after a car crashed into the mall overnight.

Firefighters and law enforcement officers spent much of the night there cleaning up after a car cut through some mall hallways.

Police say 19-year old Adam Kahin drove a car though the double doors near Macy's and Dillard's around 10:30 last night

It then went through a section of the mall, destroying a kiosk and eventually falling to the first floor near an escalator, landing on its side.

Kahin had to be cut out of the car. He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

The mall was closed at the time, so no one was injured, but some employees closing up shop did see the car in the mall. Police are working to sort the whole thing out.

Mall employee Jeff Prophete said, "I just saw this car come over the guard rail and just flip over, it was like something in a movie. I heard the noise, it was loud, a lot of commotion, people were running."

Officer Kristin Kelting from the Altamonte Springs Police Department said, "It was clearly intentional, for him to drive his vehicle through the mall. We don't know if he knows anybody at the mall, we don't know his toxicology status at this point."

Police say the driver would have had to maneuver his way around some planters before crashing through the doors.

Hopefully theres plenty of cctv footage to watch. would look call "like something out a movie".
