Hi all,

I got a new K800 last days! which I have unbranded (Vodafone Switzerland) with Davinci... Now I don't have access to mobile tv anymore. Anybody knows why? Which parameter affects this function? Certificates, CDA, Cust. file??

How can get Mobile TV with Unbranded firmware? I'm pretty sure there is a way to do it

it depnds on your operator. if they offer channels u can watch it free or charged. contact them and ask what they got

My apn on my simcard is provisioned with Vlive, so even if I use and unbranded phone, all my settings are set for Vlive and the free vlive homepage, which I dont mind very much.

In fact, it is charged. But the only difference is when I connect the VDF Live portal with the original VF K800 I can see the Vodafone Portal with the Mobile TV link... in the opposite, if I connect the same page with an unbranded K800 I don't see it... It looks like the portal detects that my mobile is not VF anymore... I tried aslo to connect directly the MobileTV link but no success...
So my question would be: Which parameter would be the reason?

Hmmm, try checking your streaming settings(if you haven't already; find them under internet settings).......

After having checked a little bit deeper at my problem I saw that the Vodafone Portal is checking the User-Agent profile... and of course when the mobile is unbranded, the User Agent is no more the same...

Do you know if there is any possibility to change the User Agent probile within the K800? I mean a setting which can be edited during the flash procedure on Davinci or whatever else...?

Afaik its not possible,cos its in the fw itself
