Has any one install the new R4EA031 on there k310 bla bla bla,
If yes what are the updates. i would be happy to know.
BTW can my k310 work with far manager.

Well, about that if your phone will work with FAR manager or not, I can tell you that FAR manager has support for CID36 phones only, as the CID49 support is not released yet. I think the K310 is CID49 phone (as it is newer model) and you are not able to use FAR manager yet, but I'm sure you will be in the close future
. See the FAR manager thread on this forum and you will see how are the things with CID49 support going on. I think they mentioned somethink like CID49 support, but it will work only with service cable, so for the regular USB cables, it cannot be used

. Actually there was an missunderstanding with the K750s. The older series were CID36 and the newer were CID49. The case is different with the K310. All new Sony Ericsson models are CID49 and aren't available to modify with far yet. They will be in some time. When the CID49 support is being released, I think it will the THE MAIN SUBJECT of talking on all Sony Ericsson forums. So you will be able to connect to FAR when CID49 is released.

@ strizlow you say that CID49 is not support with far. I did not get any error when connected well when ever my k310 is connected i see at the top k750/w800/w550. then in one of the window i see FLASH under flash i see FS?

Well if you see FS, try to get in that folder. If you get in without experiencing any errors, then your phone is CID36

A bit offtopic, is there a way to update the language on the k310?
Just bought an unlocked one and wanted to add portuguese, how do i go around to it, can someone please shed some light to a newbie?

The language depends on that which language support you have installed on your phone. There are several language packs which need to be installed when you are flashing the phone firmware. So to add language you will need to re-install the phone software with the language pack you want. Give a little search through this forum before you start advanced modding of your phone.
