> Unidentified W850i icon

A small red icon appeared just next to the signal meter on my W850i. It looks like a thickish vertical line with a half circle bulging out to right and a radial pattern on the outer edge of the half circle.
The icon remained visible for a time and then dissapeared. Switching the phone off/on did not remove it. It just disappeared, as it appeared - out of the blue.
Any info as to what this mysterious icon might be will be much appreciated.

Thanks. That was infrared definitely, but the funny thing is I did not turn on infrared intentionally. It was and still is set to "off" in the phone settings.
I wonder what could have triggered it...
