> Orange to Vodafone videocalling on P990

My friend and I both have P990's, and both have 3G enabled ... but we're unable to make a videocall from Orange to Vodafone (or vice versa). I've searched the forum and googled, but not found any decent answers. Anyone know if it can be done?

Both need to be in a 3G area, both need to have video calling setup on the accounts with Orange and Vodafone. Then it should work fine.

I have a couple fo friends on vodafone, who have 3g handsets and even show the 3g signal (Blue square box on the phone) however i was not able to make a 3g call to these people.
In the eng they contacted vodafone who sent 2 of them replacement 3g sims which once installed the phones worked perfect. The sims that they were using were there old 2g sims but it showed that the 3g network was
One of my friends just needed his to be activated which they did no probs.
Virgin and t-mobile have been issueing 3g sims to all the customers over the last 3 years and they just need to be activated via customer care.
Orange, 02 issue seperate 3 g cards with the 3 g phones.
voda have a bit of both.

Thanks for the replies. I think the most likely thing is that my friend may have an older SIM (mine is definitely 3G). Will ask him to request a new one. Cheers!
