I had recently installed the new .sis file on my m600i for BB connect and added the feature to my plan (I am with cingular wireless). Every time I turn on the BB from the phone, it says APN Connected quickly and then goes back to not connected. Each time I try to do registration, it says message sent, but I get no reply. Does anyone have any advise on how i can set this up! I am just using the BIS

Am i using the correct BB software?

I put my SIM in a BlackBerry Pearl and the data connection worked fine and I was able to receive e-mails.

I am able to browse the internet fine on my M600i and everytime I try to do a registration with BB I get Packet Data Available, then APN Connected, then it ends up with Not Connected.

You need to use BBC 3.37 for the M600, BBC 3.31 will NOT work.

Used to run BB on my P990 (same as M600 to the best of my knowledge). Didnt really work well and I've changed to Active sync which is better but still not up to Blackberry functionality on a BB-machine.

- you cannot browse internet and have BB active, there is a APN conflict by running to apps using GPRS as I understood it (its my IT guys doing this stuff for me).

- didnt sync contacts (or if it was calender)

- in generall there was a lot of configuration to do compared to active sync which is up and running in a couple of minutes.

- had and still have some memory issues when running BB and active sync respectively but that has to do with SE and low RAM capacity

Recommend you to change to Active sync instead, works better and syncs contacts also.

Good luck!
